Silver Creek Hosts Harvest Celebration in support of GIFT
Silver Creek BBQ 2011On Sunday September 18th the congregation of St. Thomas' Silver Creek was very proud to host a Harvest Celebration and Lamb Roast in support of GIFT: Growing in Faith Together. The event saw parishioners from St. Thomas' join together with friends from St. Stephen's Buckingham and St. John's Glen Almond for an afternoon of family games, worship, and fellowship that raised over $300 for the diocesan capital campaign.

Holy Trinity Danford Lake launches one of our first GIFT campaigns



Above: On Sunday, October 23, the parish of Holy Trinity in the Northern Pontiac region
of the Gatineau hills was one of the first congregations in our Diocese to launch a Growing in
Faith Together campaign. This clip shows the parish youth group dramatizing the GIFT campaign prayer,
narrated by Madison Russett, and scenes from a parish reception. The clip was produced by the
Reverend Jim Collins.

Sheldon Box of St. Mary's, Russell
Just prior to the GIFT Campaign, St. Mary's Russell had two failed attempts at major fund raising and were struggling with our third attempt. The GIFT campaign gave use the expertise, process, guidence and credibility to develop and sustain an effective and comprehenivie campaign. Also, at the same time as the campaign, there was an observable an increase in participation and enthusisum within the parish. Who would have thought?
